Timothy N. Logan grew up in Waynesburg, the son of the A. Virginia Logan and the late William P. Logan. He graduated cum laude from West Virginia University in 1982 and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh with Honors in 1989. While in law school, he was a member and editor of the Journal of Law and Commerce and President of the Christian Legal Society. He was also the recipient of the Rothman Labor Law Award as well as being a published author. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in December of 1989 and to the West Virginia bar in May of 1990. He has been admitted to the Pennsylvania Superior Court and Supreme Court and the Western District of Pennsylvania and 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to opening his own practice in his hometown of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania over 20 years ago, Timothy clerked on the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals with the late Honorable Carol Los Mansmann. He then practiced with the law firm of Furbee, Amos, Webb & Critchfield in West Virginia for several years. Timothy’s practice focuses on real estate transactions, gas and oil issues, estate planning and probate of estates. He previously served as Greene County Mental Health Hearing Officer for ten years.
His community involvement includes being an active member of Gideons International as well as speaking and singing at churches throughout the area. Timothy has served on the boards of the Waynesburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Greene County Habitat for Humanity and AMI, Inc. and coached little league baseball, soccer and tennis. He is a past president of the Greene County Bar Association and belongs to the Pennsylvania and West Virginia Bar Associations.
Timothy enjoys singing, performing in community theater and playing tennis. He lives in the Ruff Creek area with his wife, Sandra and has two adult children Rebekah Logan and Jason (Emily) Logan. His favorite pastime is playing with his grandchildren, Owen, Eliana and Simon.
